Hello
Considering not using TWS, replaced by IBGateway, can Trade commander transfer trades from MT4 to IB account using IBGateway ?

Yes, it does. TWS and IBGateway, both implement IBs API. The gateway purpose is running only API.
The bridge is an API client application.
