Hi,
Is it possible to have only one MTIBBridge linked to multiple IB accounts and multiple MT5 sessions? Is there a product to do that kind of things? Or do we need one bridge product per IB account per MT5 session?
Thanks.

Re: Multiple IB accounts
The bridge can only connect to one IB account but to multiple MetaTrader 4/5.
If you need to serve multiple IB accounts, you should think about to request for an IB FA (Financial Advisor) account which can
manage multiple customer or family members or friend accounts.
IB recommends not run more than 1 TWS or gateway on one machine. So the typical method to place orders
for multiple accounts is to use an FA account.
The bridge can connect to FA accounts and allows to define an allocation for this FA account per MetaTrader connected.
(doubleclick on the MetaTrader instance in the bridge 1. page upper right table. In the upcoming dialog set the allocation to be used
for orders coming from this MetaTrader).
Please mind: There are different prices for the bridge, depending on what IB account connected:

Re: Multiple IB accounts
Hi,
I come back on your answer.
We would like to run a "strategy1" on IB in direct mode (so true money) and we would like in the same time to try a "strategy2" on an IB paper account (fake money).
So, is it possible to do that with 1 Bridge, 2 MT5, 2 IB account (one for live, one for paper trades)?
I've run 2 MT5 (installed in 2 different directories), but the bridge see only the one installed in the common directory (C:\Program Files\MetaTrader 5) and not the one installed in other diretory (C:\Program Files\MetaTrader 5_2). Why I'm not supposed to see the 2 MT5 in bridge?
Thanks,
Regards
Guillaume

Re: Multiple IB accounts
I am sorry, this is not possible. The bridge can only connect to one IB account and multiple MT4/5 accounts.
The IB account can be single or FA.
(It is not recommended to run more than one TWS or gateway on one machine.)
Some options:
1. Get a 2nd license of the bridge and run a 2nd bridge on same machine. Use the configuration feature for this.
2. Not sure what you like to accomplish but perhaps you can implement the same strategy by 2 different MetaTrader accounts instead
of 2 different TWS accounts ? The only thing you may need, is a communication somehow across MetaTrader instances.
---
Missing MetaTrader installation in the bridge. If you installed a MetaTrader after the bridge, you need to install bridge components
(so basically tcEAScanOrder) afterwards.
How to do this:
Option A: Simply reinstall components for all MetaTraders: In the bridge, go on Menu/Setup/Update Components...
Make sure your MT installation in within the folders listed. Then click on "Start update".
Option B: Install components for MT5_2 only:
- Open MT5_2, in the menu of MT go on File/Open datafolder.
- Copy folder from address field of explorer
- In the bridge go on Menu/Setup/Update components single instance
- Click in the big edit field. The right click an say "paste" or press ctrl+v.
So effectively copy the datafolder path of MT into this field.
- Click on "Start installation".
Once finished, go to MT5_2, make sure DLL import is checked for experts and attach tcEAScanOrder to one and only one chart of your choice.
You should see this MT5_2 instance in the bridge 1. page upper right table.
